FolderMaestro Laptop File Check-Out is a powerful, easy-to-use application designed to provide file check-out capabilities for end-users needing off-line file editing access while maintaining file version conflict control.
With Laptop File Check-Out, laptop users can easily browse any directory on the network file server and simply “Reserve” the file for off-line editing purposes. When doing so, a copy of the file will be placed locally on the laptop. The file server copy will be “locked” for editing until the laptop user “Checks-In” their edits and updates the server.
With Laptop File Check-Out, any Windows Server can now add Enterprise Content Management capabilities.
Note: Laptop File Check-out can work with FolderMaestro Server Version Collaboration for multi-server companies OR by itself for companies with just 1 server.
